Alexandra and Evgeniy: marriage legalization for France

Learn more about this marriage registration in Georgia
We organized a small, intimate celebration in Georgia for Evgenia, from Russia, and Alexandre, from France. The clients’ primary requirement was the legal recognition of their marriage certificate. While Georgia issues the document immediately, for it to be legally binding in France and the UAE—as requested by the couple—it had to undergo the procedures of Apostille and Consular legalization.
For France, an Apostille is sufficient to verify the document’s authenticity and make it valid throughout the country. The process for the UAE is more complex: first, an Apostille is issued, followed by a translation into Arabic and certification by the Consulate. Although the procedure took some time, our specialists handled all the paperwork, allowing the newlyweds to focus on more pleasant preparations instead of bureaucracy.
It was a boutique wedding that Evgenia described as incredibly touching. With only twelve guests—the closest family and friends—the couple wanted to avoid a loud banquet and maintain a cozy atmosphere. Georgia proved to be the perfect location, where natural beauty and local hospitality create a festive spirit on their own.
The morning began with hair and makeup. The stylist arrived directly at the hotel to create a light, radiant look for the bride, emphasizing her natural beauty. The florist selected delicate blooms, and the wedding planner oversaw every detail. Everything looked simple yet exquisite.
The celebration took place in a charming restaurant with a private hall overlooking the Old Town. The menu featured a blend of traditional Caucasian dishes and light European appetizers. We succeeded in creating a warm, family-like atmosphere due to the small guest list. Photographers and videographers accompanied the couple throughout the day, ensuring the photos and videos didn’t look staged but felt like a “live story” filled with genuine emotions.
This small celebration in Georgia, organized by Violet Weddings, became a true soulful holiday. It not only strengthened the bond between the lovers but made their marriage official—legally recorded and recognized across the globe.
