Maxim and Svetlana. Marriage registration in Batumi

Marriage registration in Batumi for a couple from Ukraine
A couple of Ukrainian citizens approached us with a request to organize their marriage registration and its legalization. Among all the wonderful places in Georgia, they chose to have their wedding in Batumi. Violet Weddings organized an unforgettable wedding day. Every detail was thoughtfully planned: the stunning look of the bride and groom with a bouquet and boutonniere, a dress code for the witnesses in green and blue tones, registration at the Civil Registry Office, document legalization, a luxurious photo session, and a delicious wedding dinner.
The cherished words “I do” were spoken by the couple from Ukraine at the Batumi Marriage Palace in the presence of two witnesses. There, they also exchanged rings, performed their first dance as newlyweds, and received their official marriage certificate. The unique dolphin-shaped building of the registry office, with its striking lighting and creamy-white interior, symbolizes the purity of the couple’s intentions and serves as a perfect backdrop for wedding photos.
After the ceremony, the newlyweds and their witnesses took a walk through old Batumi. Our wedding photographer accompanied them every step of the way, capturing many sweet and joyful moments. They strolled along the elegant alleys of Miracle Park and the Batumi Boulevard. The sculptures “Ali and Nino,” the Ferris wheel, the lighthouse, and the Georgian alphabet tower became picturesque elements in their photos.
The charming landscapes of Batumi’s seaside park, with its shaded alleys, bamboo grove, and Japanese garden, allowed the photographer’s imagination to flourish, creating original compositions for the wedding photographs.
Old Town has its own unique atmosphere, which is why wedding photographers often choose locations along its narrow streets. The freshness of the bride and the serious intentions of the groom are highlighted by the ambiance created by the historic architecture. Europe Square is a place where a European vibe intertwines with Georgian charm. And of course, Batumi has the sea — its azure blue waters and gentle surf provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photos.
While the newlyweds enjoyed the beauty of Batumi and each other’s company, Violet Weddings agents took care of the document legalization: translating the marriage certificate into English and obtaining an apostille for European countries. The wedding dinner at an excellent Batumi restaurant put a delicious exclamation point on the first chapter of their long married life.
