Documents and Requirements for Foreigners
To register your marriage, you will need to provide passports translated into Georgian and notarized. If one or both partners are entering into a second marriage, proof that the previous marriage has been dissolved or that the former spouse is deceased is required. These supporting documents must also be translated and notarized, as well as birth certificates of any minor children you have together. We will prepare all documents in the required format and provide witnesses for the civil ceremony. Your marriage certificate will then be apostilled or legalized through consular legalization.
